Heatwave Stirling Powered Stove Fan
|
This Stirling engine powered fan is powered solely by the heat from a stove. It requires
no external power source such as batteries or AC power. The fan circulates the stove’s
warmth quietly, efficiently and inexpensively. These fans use a different way to power
themselves compared to the ecofans. Ecofans have device that uses the Peltier-Seebeck
effect to produce electricity. However these fans have a Stirling engine inside them
powering the fan. It has no electrical parts whatsoever and is virtually maintenance-free
under normal circumstances.
The fan operates from about 350°F to a maximum rated temperature of 1000°F. It operates
most efficiently between 390°F and 800°F. The normal surface operating temperature of a
wood stove is 450°F to 700°F. It has been designed to operate at peak efficiency
through the entire normal operating temperature range of your stove.
Note: This fan can move upto 2 to 3 times the amount of air compared to ecofans.
