LED light-up Umbrella (Blade Runner Style)

The film Blade Runner is well known for its futuristic props, cinematography and being
an amazing sci-fi movie. One of the many futuristic props included umbrellas that had
illuminated shafts. These props for the film were cobbled together fluorescent tubes
connected to normal umbrella covers. Large heavy battery packs and transforms were
hidden away in actor’s clothes.
Fortunately due to LED technology and some cleaver engineering you can now own an
illuminating umbrella. The handle contains just 3 x AAA batteries. Just press the switch
on the handle and on comes the white light. It is very impressive! Of course it can still
be used as a normal umbrella. Great for those dark rainy days.
